Sasha Heath illustrates colouring books, folding cards, walls, and other things. She is the illustrator of the recently published colouring book "The Wild Alphabet Book" (Lalaland, 2012). When she was small, she spent most of her time drawing, sculpting and making holes in the garden for her animal friends. When she grew up, she began to illustrate all the animals she had met, and in 2011, she teamed up with Christopher James, who together plan to take over the world one illustration at a time.

She works in her home studio, filled with vintage furniture, bikes, stacks of pens, paper and fabric and her naughty cat. Her work is inspired by animals she has met on her adventures around the world, experiences in different countries, vintage children's stories, her favourite films, and influences from many inspiring artists. She likes to needle felt, hunt for old treasures, play bike polo and tend her veggie garden.

She has a BA in Illustration at Solent University, and an MA in Communication Design at Winchester School of Art. She lives and works among the quiet streets of Melbourne with her fellow adventurer, Chris, and their extremely naughty and mischievous cat, Cat - named after Cat in Breakfast and Tiffany's.
